Basics of a Real Estate Closing
9 am to 12 pm Registration begins at 8:15 am
Holiday Inn-College Park – 10000 Baltimore Avenue College Park, MD 20740
This is a basic course on conducting real estate closings. It is ideal for those who are new to the business and for the more experienced person who’d like a refresher course.
It is designed as a basic training course where new licensees can learn the anatomy of a closing.
This would be a great follow-up to the MLTA Pre-Licensing class.
Participants will learn how to process a transaction from the opening of the file up to the closing. They will learn how to conduct a closing, including what to do, what not to do, how to explain specific documents, how to properly perform the duties of a notary public, and the licensed closer's general role in the transaction.
In our effort to improve the quality of our industry and provide additional services to our membership, we hope that our members will take advantage of the opportunity to send their employees to this excellent training course, whether the person requires CE credit or not.
Speakers are Esther Finkelstein, Mark Schweitzer, Esq., and Elaine Wright. Agenda below.
