Solutions Title Company is seeking a Title Processor. The Title Processor manages residential real estate transactions from contract to closing. This position works closely with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and our internal team to ensure each file is accurate, compliant, and prepared for a successful settlement.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Open and process new title orders.
  • Review contracts and order title work, payoffs, HOA documents, surveys, and other required items. 
  • Communicate with all parties throughout the transaction. 
  • Prepare settlement statements and closing documents. 
  • Resolve title issues with attorneys and underwriters.
  • Schedule settlements and coordinate signings. 
  • Ensure lender requirements and title conditions are met before closing. 
  • Maintain accurate file documentation and provide outstanding customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Eastern Shore Title Company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Title Examiner to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough title searches and submitting documents to Maryland land records to be recorded.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Examine Public Records — Conduct comprehensive searches of public records, including deeds, mortgages, judgments, tax records, easements, and other instruments to identify liens, encumbrances, and title defects.
  • Record within Public Records — Apply knowledge of recording requirements while submitting documents to land records via electronic format or in-person Courthouse recording. 
  • Communicate with Settlement Coordinators — Collaborate with our Settlement Coordinators to provide timely reports and address title-related questions.
  • Maintain Quality Standards — Review completed title work for accuracy and completeness. 
  • Stay Current — Keep up to date with changes in state statutes, underwriter guidelines, and industry best practices affecting title examination.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in title examination or a closely related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Qualia title production software.
  • Knowledge of Maryland title search standards, recording practices, and real property law.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting public land records, court records, and legal instruments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) preferred. 
  • State of Maryland Title Insurance License (preferred).

Title Resources Group (TRG) has an opportunity for an Agency Sales Representative to be responsible for generating new relationships with title agents who are not currently working with TRG and build strong relationships with existing TRG title agents in order to expand our share of their business.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with title agents in the states of VA / MD / DC.
  • This individual will utilize their sales skills and industry knowledge in order to identify and evaluate key prospects and oversee the title agent application process.
  • Handle licensing for new title agencies and for changes with current licensees.
  • Create, teach and implement seminars for title agents on a variety of topics to include training and education for title agents and their customers.
  • Oversee agent activity, review financials, and be responsible for monitoring and documenting agent performance.
  • Network and cultivate relationships with mortgage lenders, real estate agents, principals etc. as a complement to title agent relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relationship-building skills.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience is required.

Maryland Department of General Services

Located in Baltimore, the Maryland Department of General Services is seeking a Senior Paralegal. The primary purpose of this position is to provide senior-level paralegal support for the Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation (MALPF) easement program in 23 counties and support the Assistant Attorney General's Office, Chief of Land Acquisition & Disposal, and Chief of Valuation and Appraisal in MALPF duties outlined in the MOU between the Department of Agriculture and Department of General Services.

Responsibilities include file and database management; legal document preparation and review; procurement, ordering, and reviewing title work; plotting legal descriptions; approving and tracking invoices from title companies; and performing post-closing review and file archiving. This position also serves as the Senior/Lead Paralegal, assigning, reviewing, and overseeing Junior Paralegals work.
