United Title, located in the heart of Severna Park, is looking to hire a new Senior Title Processor to its residential and commercial practice! The successful candidate will be immediately responsible for a manageable title caseload, along with our ancillary duties that are essential to the function of the company.  

Job Functions Include:
• Receive and review contracts of sale, refinance requests, and requests for title or settlement services. 
• Place orders for title abstracts, location and boundary surveys, requisite lender information, and other title and settlement instruments 
• Examine title searches and surveys. 
• Prepare commitments for the issuance of title insurance policies.
• Obtain payoff and release statements of mortgage liens, judgment liens, and tax liens to insure and facilitate clear title.
• Coordinate time, location, and other logistics of settlements with lenders, agents, and other requisite parties to a given transaction.
• Prepare HUD-1 settlement statements.
• Input title abstract and other information into company’s case management system.
• Organize, synthesize, and prepare various settlement documentation. 
• Receive funds due and payable, initiate applicable wire transfers, and prepare all checks.
• Review and prepare settlement files for post-closing department.
• Prepare ongoing ledgers of ongoing transactions for company-wide distribution and understanding.
• Continuing education procurement.

Minimum Job Requirements include:

• Minimum of two years of title company experience in a processor or related role.
• Title Producer License.
• Notary Public License 
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for the real estate and title industries and its clientele (homeowners, investors, builders, agents, etc.).  
• Exceptional skillset in written and verbal communication and advocacy. 
• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task with follow-up efforts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, TSS, and other systems. 

Compensation:  This position is full-time. Salary will be commensurate with experience and will include health insurance and other benefits at the firm’s expense.

We are looking for a Commercial Underwriter to join us in our Baltimore office. The Commercial Underwriter provides general underwriting reviews, support and authorization to company personnel, agents and customers, related to the issuance of real estate title insurance commitments and policies. Determines actions to include accept, modify or decline risks. Ensure all files requiring tax payment are processed on or before county due dates. 

Job Roles:
• Reviews requests for indemnifications presented by outside sources, evaluates circumstances for issuance of said letter, then responsible for issuance of indemnity letter if determined liability exists. 
• Utilizes underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority limits, to evaluate, classify and rate properties for insurance 
• Examines such documents as real property information, maps, abstracts and other related reports to determine degree of risk from such factors as property financial standing, value and condition of property
• Minimizes company's liability exposure. Pay taxes on time and in a manner according to county guidelines.
• While reviewing a file maintain open communication with internal and external customers so they understand the process and if we are not able to accommodate them, they will still have had a positive customer experience.

Role Specific Knowledge:

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of and understand all local counties tax payment deadlines and procedures.

We are looking for a motivated and driven Settlement Processor to join our rapidly growing business! This position coordinates with all parties to acquire, analyze, and organize all documents needed during the closing process. 

What You Will Do:
• Performs all necessary duties to reach settlement and transfer the title of property pursuant to the stipulations contained in the real estate contract and lender instructions, when applicable. 
• Prepares all required documents including a CD and or Settlement Statement 
• Maintains constant communication with all parties throughout the escrow process

• Completes real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements; clearing titles; assembling, preparing and reviewing closing documents; disbursing funds.

Minimum Job Requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2 + years' experience in Title industry preferred.

• Must be proficient with MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook 
• Must possess working knowledge of RESPA and other federal, state, and industry compliance requirements
